artisanWe have a great selection of traditional fresh breads from yeasted whites to slow fermented wheat-free rye sourdoughs and deliciously flaky croissants. The bulk of the fresh bread we stock is from two local bakeries, the long running continental bakery Barbakan in Chorlton, whose breads we stock every day and Trove in Levenshulme which arrives every weekday. We heartily believe that the bread you eat every day should taste great and be made slowly from the best organic ingredients, a passion which is shared by our bakeries. The result is bread that’s simply delicious however you eat it, with great keeping qualities and no additives or improvers.

Locally Produced Artisan Produce

In the Northwest we have a wealth of small makers and producers using traditional and new methods to create truly delicious food. We have a great selection of local and handmade foods including local, raw honey, handmade pickles, jams and chutneys, fabulous local chocolate, hand fermented foods, locally brewed beers, hand roasted coffee and much more. So, next time your shopping, pop something made locally into your basket and support your local community.
